FOR SALE: 1966 427 S/C, built professionally by Thunder Carriages. Constructed in 1997, this beauty has only 800 loving miles. COLOR: Bright Current Red metallic with Raspberry Red metallic ghost stripes in basecoat, color sanded and buffed to a bright shine. ENGINE: 1962 Ford FE cross bolt 406 cubic inch with Tri-power. Professionally restored to its rated 405 HP by Laniers Speed Shop in Colorado Springs, Colorado. MSD 6-AL Ignition with rev limiter. Lakewood bell housing, new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, chrome valve covers and cast aluminum air cleaner. COOLING: Griffin Aluminum radiator with 16" fan, aluminum shrouding and expansion tank. TRANSMISSION: Ford big shaft NASCAR close ratio 4 speed with Hurst shifter.
REAR DIFFERENTIAL: Ford 9" center section 3.70 to 1 ratio gears, Posi-traction, 31 spline Moser axles. BRAKES: Disc brakes front and rear with braided steel brake lines. BRAKE and CLUTCH PEDALS: Neal hydraulic dual brake master cylinders and clutch with braided steel lines. FRAME and SUSPENSION: Rectangular 2x4 – 3/16 wall tubing main rails. Welded in a frame jig for accuracy and strength. Black powder coat paint. All 4 suspension corners have Aldan coil over shocks with ride height adjustment for street and track. Tubular upper and lower A-Arms. Rear suspension uses an adjustable 4 link system with pan hard bar. Steering is manual rack and pinion. FUEL DELIVERY: Fuel tank is 18 gallon 16 gauge material, powder coated to match the frame. Electric fuel pump and filter. INTERIOR: Beautiful black leather, double stitched seats, dash and side door pockets. Top quality Essex carpet in the cockpit and trunk. Mahogany rimmed steering wheel with billet collar. Gauges are white faced VDO. TRIM: All proper badges, emblems, windshield, wind wings, visors and lights. WHEELS and TIRES: Trigo Halibrand reproduction wheels 7x15 front, 10x15 rears.
